Linda Zitka, Director of the Woodhaven Wellness Center, holds a degree in nursing from Mohegan Community College and is a former Nurse Education Specialist. She holds a certification in Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapy and is consulting hypnotherapist for an acute care hospital in Connecticut. She is certified in lymphatic drainage massage, colon hydrotherapy and Reiki. Linda is a frequent presenter and lecturer at seminars and workshops, speaking on various topics related to health and wellness therapies. She strongly believes that each of us has within the ability and strength to bring about the changes and healing that we desire in our lives and views her role as a facilitator in this process.

Linda is a member of the Holistic Health Practitioners of Northeast Connecticut, the Conn. Holistic Health Assoc. and the American Holistic Nurses Assoc., as well as the National Guild of Hypnotists, the International Assoc. of Counselors and Therapists and Inter. Assoc. of Colon Therapy.

She is certified by the American Board of Hypnotherapists, National Guild of Hypnotists, National Board of Colon Hydrotherapists and the Institute for Integrative Healthcare Studies.

As Director of the Woodhaven Wellness Center, her role is to assure that each client receives the best possible care and attention with understanding and sensitivity of the individual’s needs, both physical and emotional.
